I wanted to provide a follow up since my daughter is now in 4th grade. My daughter truly loves to go to school! She is so excited to get there and misses it when the school is closed. Her academic development is taken very seriously and she thrives in this environment. She now uses the computer daily for her homework and IXL skills testing. She reads her library books completely every week and is excelling with the demanding testing that 4th grade brings. This school focuses on the child and brings out their best! We reinforce the faith-based learning at home through prayer and mass attendance. She is proud of her faith. I have a soon to be kindergartener starting in the fall and I am so excited for her to grow and learn about her faith, service and self accomplishments. Truly a wonderful school and I cannot say enough about the loving teachers! It is because of them my child excels and thrives at school! God Bless each and every one of them!

My daughter started in September at St. Francis as a first grader and we are extremely happy with our decision. From the moment you enter St. Francis you are greeted with such a warm and loving sense of belonging. I believe that this feeling comes from our Principal and trickles down to all of the Teachers, Faculty, Staff, volunteers, students and families of St. Francis. Our daughter is thriving in her first grade class, academically as well as socially. If you are looking for a close knit, family oriented, school with superior academics, St. Francis is the best place for your child/children.

One of the best decisions I have made as a parent was to send my children to St. Francis de Sales. My children get a quality education. The teachers are well qualified and continue their education through specialty certifications or advanced degrees in education. The teachers are creative and are well equipped to bring the 21st century skills into the classroom. The teachers have given my one child extra help in certain academic areas and have readily adapted the classrooms including computer and book use to accommodate his visual impairments to enable him to succeed and be self-confident. The principal is readily accessible and is very involved on a daily basis with the children. She is in the classrooms. The children just love her and so do I. She leads and teaches her staff to create a great learning environment. She is honest and open to feedback. The entire school staff including support staff envelop the students with unconditional love, provide a safe and learning environment, and instill Christian values. You will find a close knit community that will welcome anyone into it. I work full time and am comforted daily knowing that my children are at this school.

One of the best decisions we made was sending our boys to St. Francis de Sales school. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with kindness and warmth. It is truly a God-centered family atmosphere. The principal, teachers and staff are wonderful. They are invested in our SFDS students and work hard to give the best education and school experience. My son has a food allergy and we have had full support from the beginning on making a safe environment for him. This has meant so much to us. If you are looking for a school that offers a great education plus a loving family atmosphere, St. Francis de Sales if the place for you.

St. Francis is a gem of a school. It is small and mighty. Our daughter loves going to school and thrives at SFDS. The children are compassionate, friendly and are all proud of their school. Having a doctoral degree myself, I know the education and values that are essential during these early formative years and have seen our daughter gain the attributes and strong education essential for her to carry her education through college and thereafter. Being a smaller school, it seems no child gets "lost in the shuffle" and they all get personal attention. The principal, Sr. Mary, is a warm, endearing educator who knows and loves every single student. We are more than happy with the decision to send our daughter to St. Francis and look forward to seeing her continued growth in education, morals and confidence as she grows.

St. Francis is a wonderful warm nurturing environment for children to learn and grow. The principal and staff know the children by name and have a clear understanding of their strengths and weaknesses to help them grow as individuals. It is a gem of a school.

St. Francis is a small school with such big spirt!! It is a hidden gem! Where can you child get a wonderful education but also the skills on how to be caring and compassionate to others? My 1st grader would not be who is today without the terrific teachers and staff. The principal knows the kids and interacts with them everyday so she knows them all personally. I can not wait to see what the future holds as my daughter continues her education.

We have never been happier with the choice we have made for our children. Having a background in education, it is important that my children attend a school with academic excellence. Not only does this school have an outstanding principal and teachers, it is also a caring, family-like environment .St. Francis De Sales school and its faculty have exceeded my expectations. We couldn't be more thrilled with school!

Awesome school, very welcoming community. The teachers are very caring and attentive. Sr. Mary is by far the type of person I would want directing my kid s school. From the moment my wife and I stepped into the school 7 years ago we have never once regretted the decision to send both our girls here. This school is doing a great job of teaching our kids you to not sit back and expect anything but to work, earn and achieve. Thank the Lord the powers that be saw the errors of their ways and kept this jewel open.

A true family school. The principal, teachers and staff know each child by name -- they know their siblings' names as well as their dog's name. Where do you find that? Very strong family values. We have never regretted our decision to send both our children to SFDS. Go Bulldogs!

I cannot imagine a better place for my children to receive an education! The school is welcoming and everyone, from staff to students to parents, are always so friendly. Being a smaller school, the students are very close-knit. Everyone, including students in different grades and teachers my son has not had yet, know both his name and his sister's (and she will not be a student at SFDS until this fall!). The principal is wonderful and caring, someone that honestly loves her work, and the teachers are top notch. I have never not received a same day reply when I have either called or emailed, no matter how trite my issue. The education that my son is receiving has been fantastic, where both academics and morals are concerned. Parents can be as involved as much or as little as they want or are able. I cannot say enough about how happy we are to have found St. Francis de Sales.

My son is in his sixth year at St Francis and my daughter is in her 3rd year. Next year, my youngest will start Kindergarten at St Francis. To say I have been thrilled with everything St Francis has to offer would be an understatement. Sister Mary, the principal, is top rate. The teachers are absolutely wonderful. The education my children have received over the years is superb. One of the things we love most about St Francis is the community feel about the school. I absolutely recommend St Francis de Sales!!!

Very poor quality education here. The principal is very difficult to reach, the teachers are under-qualified, and the academics are not up to par. While my overall impression of Catholic schools in general is that they have improved their programs over the years, this particular school leaves a lot to be desired. Your child will not get the attention and quality instruction that he or she deserves, particularly if you are not one of the principal's favorite parents. She is certainly not the loving, concerned leader that she would like people to believe she is. They should have closed this school last year when it was "saved" from the merger. I pulled my child out and am glad I did.

Excellent Principal and small intimate setting for the children. I had an enjoyable experience teaching here.

St. Francis provided a loving and caring environment for my children. The education they received prepared them for highschool and college. It is rare to find a school which can provide individual attention to their students, but St. Francis does. The teachers are supportive and interested in the students. Their principle knows every student by name and has a genuine concern for their wellbeing. If you are looking for a small school where your children will be accepted, nurtured and receive an excellent education, this is the school for you. My children have many fond memories of St. Francis de Sales.

This is my last year at St. Francis De Sales. Having gone there 9 years (K-8) I can honestly say that this school made me the person I am today. St. Francis teachers have a genuine care for students, everyone knows everyone. The outreach St. Francis does is outstanding for the school's small size. I am on student government so I know first hand how much work goes into helping others. One thing I wish our school had more of is extracurricular activities, our sports teams are very good, especially our volleyball team. Leaving St. Francis I know I will be prepared for high school, and whatever else comes my way. The core values St Francis teaches will stay in your heart forever.

All of my children have attended/currently attend St. Francis de Sales. The teachers are wonderful, and constantly challenge the students with new projects. The technology department is excellent. My older children have excelled in high school and college and I attribute the success the loving and learning environment at St. Francis.

Saint Francis de Sales School may be misjudged because of it's size and its location, hidden in the hills of Lenni, but the school uses this to its advantage. Small classes provide an intimate setting where teachers personally know their students strengths and struggles. Extra help for students is always available. Parents are an integral part of the programs, which helps the school community become an extended family. Parishoners and non parishoners both and welcome. All religions are welcome to attend and never discriminated! If you are thinking of enrolling, I think it would be beneficial for you and your child to strongly consider this school!
