Many parents are over exaggerating how much homework is given. Simply because the child is complaining about homework doesn't mean there is too much of it. I went to the PLC 8 years ago and enjoyed it as much as any child can enjoy school. I am a student of OHS and I have been to some of the classes while in progress at the PLC, all the children were incorporated into the lesson and there were no issues. Don't let the opinions of a few bias parents sway your view of this great school.

This is a new school in the district called the OIS. We were not happy. There was too much homework and was disappointed with how several situations were handled. Our kids didn't like going there. They don't make learning fun. They don't hold their attention. There is constant mention of accountability and responsibility, which we as parents know our kids need, but it was overkill by the school. There were a lot of times where our kids came home not knowing the work they learned that day and then it was left up to us to help them at home. We know we have to help our kids to some degree with homework but most of it should be able to get done without our help. Big improvements are needed at this school.
