I am a student who attends Avella High School, and for me, it has been a wonderful experience. I have learned so much and have really gotten to know the staff and see how they have really prepared me for a college experience. It is a small, loving school, and even though they sometimes make a little mistake here or there, it is definitely worth it.

There are quite a few good and caring teachers but, i am a student at Avella Area Jr/Sr high school the principal wrongly accuses students that have done things in the past and they dont really pay attention to things going on in the halls, also the students don't have a voice in the school.

As far as state testing scores Avella is Advanced. The small class sizes leave no room for 'cliquing' and all the kids are very close.

I think very highly of the Avella School District. The Principle goes above, and beyond, the call of duty in terms of dealing with the children. The teacher/student ratio is awsome and one would be challenged to find this type of attention in a private school.

The teachers in this school district seem to be very caring and good, unfortunately the administration is terrible and does not in any way help the parents or the teachers to equip the students to excel. The principle of the high school has very poor communication skills and does not care about the students.
