Faculty at W.E.S. truley encourage student mutual respect as well as respect for authority. The kids are very often complemented on their superior behavior on field trips. Curriculum is geared to be enriching for all the student regardless of capability. It is indeed interesting. Kids get a wide exposure to many cultural stories. Many teachers offer challenges for better students right in the class as well as extra help for slower students. I sometimes wonder if the curriculum isn't hard enough. Many energetic creative teachers. A caring involved principal. Great art and music program. District has gifted and special ed programs. Active, effective PTA organization. Outdoor class room in the courtyard is really cool. The school is rather large since it handles k-6 It is a nice place to go to school.
