I am currently an 8th grader at Shafer. I am on team 8a. I do agree our school has some problems, but every school does. Shafer in my opinion deals with the situations very well, and takes disiplinary actions when needed. This school gives you many freedoms and lets youhave fun while you learn. You meet many people. I love shafer middle school. And i am going to be sad when i leave at the end of this year.

The best school my son ever attended! Mr Incollingo was always involved with helping a student or a parent. He is very professional and cares about all his students. The teachers are phenominal! The secretaries are very organized and keep everything running smooth. Shafer is kept very clean and the kids love being there. They are very sad to leave. Ms. Fields is very knowledgeable and does a terrific job with the children. I can't say enough about this school. My son graduated this year, I will truly miss everyone there. Mrs. Margaret Shaw should be voted as teacher of the year. Her FACS Class is wonderful. I especially love and highly endorse the 'Baby think it over' project! Mrs. Shaw spends a lot of time with the students and with this special program. Her efforts do not go unseen by me and are deeply and gratefully exceptional in my point of view. It was sad that this school lost one of the better and most popular teacher this year. Robert Shafer is excellent.

Robert K. Shafer Middle School is an excellent school where they focus on the students and in our recent catastrophe they pulled us together and made sure we all were comforted. And even though it's been months since it happened the staff and the school won't forget it. the teachers are great! The students are to.. I mean you always have a bad apple in a bunch. It's a great place to prepare for high school. ~Shafer Supporter

I am currently in 7a roadrunners at Shafer middle.In my opinion the quality of all the programs are excellent.The principal and SGA really get the family's involved with the school.

This is the school for your child if you want them going to a school looking like a jail! Also the teacher are really great and the t.v. show Sunny Side Up.

I'm in the gifted program in Shafer and it isn't all that bad. However, there are so many other problems in the school. The bathrooms have writings on the walls and there are cigarette butts in the sink. It was so disgusting, Some people don't even flush the toilet. It's so disgusting, but I do like the dances and group activities there.

I'm in the school now and I wouldnt reccomend it. Me and my friends and a problem with a kid and it took all of our parents calling the school for the kids to get 2 detentions and he still continued. The princeapals arent good. I had a SS book that was published before I was born saying that checkoslovika is still checkoslovika. Half the time the dress codes werent caught and the vandlisim and the smoking the teachers dont care about you and with all the things that happen in that school they should.
