We had 3 children attend Conestoga- and 3 diffrent earners. It was exceptional for all 3. Most telling was our youngest- an average student who attended a top 10 university on an athletic scholarship. I a class where 90% were in the top 10% of their high school class, he handles the academics of this premier institution with no problem.

We have three daughters who attended Conestoga, and couldnt be happier with the staff, the community, and the resources and opportunities available to students in the T/E district generally and Conestoga in particular. It is a college prep school in every sense.

I believe the school has everything to offer a student to be teh best they can be. One must understand that every school will have some predjudice / drugs / etc. It is up to the parents first and foremost to provide a safe and loving home environment then hope and pray your child has the backbone to say no.

Although they attemped to get rid of the music department I would have to say that it has one of the most student involvment i have ever seen. Parents are very involved with students and their activities. If there is something needed parents will figure it out and get it started. Overall academics are amazing. Student learn in a most advanced high tech and up to date environment.

I agree that the school is extremely competitive, but the competition has prepared me for college. The teachers are excellent and the school is beautiful. There are two courtyards where students can relax, eat lunch and if we were lucky, sometimes even have class on a nice spring day. This is a very rich school, which means that students have the best of everything - including the academic advantage. It is one of the most technologically advanced schools in the country. The students are all very different but the majority of the school is 'preppy.' Most wear designer clothing and accessories. (jcrew, abercrombie, tiffany's, coach) Students are encouraged to participate in activities. If they do not find a club that suits them, they can easily form their own. There is so much more i could say, but I only have 150 words. From a student's perspective, there is no better.
