This school is an awesome school! The principal (yes, i know how to spell the word correctly) does a very good job guiding our students in the areas of academics, faith, and overall growth. I am not sure where the negative comments generate from; have these parents been in the school to volunteer and get to know the staff and the internal operations of this school?

I do not recommend this school in any way shape or form. I have three children and since the present principle this school and drastically changed and not for the better. I have had many issues on many levels that go unacknowledged unless they are looking for a donation or need something. 5 years ago I would and did praise this school now I'm ashamed of it. This is the last year for my children. Schools like this one give catholic schools a bad name and explain why so many are closing!!!!!!!

I agree that this principal is bad for the school. She is forcing out the more seasoned, caring teachers by forbiding them to challenge or discipline students. She encourages students to be her "friends" and often sides with them against teachers. She only seems to care about good grades and not education. I pulled my daughter out of the school because of this.

This school has changed since present Principal came. Students are given many "freedoms" by Principal......teachers are not able to challenge or discipline students. Students know they can "get away " with almost anything!

I would not recommend this school with the current staff in place. The upper grade teachers should retire, they lack enthusiam, and current methods of teaching.

This was one of the top schools in the Lehigh Valley until about 3 or 4 years ago. My son graduated in 2008. He worked hard and had good grades. My daughter is in 7th grade and gets good grades with doing little to no work. The principal allows students to complain to her about homework assignments, demerits or anything that they don't like. THIS IS WRONG. The students are not learning and it seems that teachers wont push them.

St. Anne's is an average school - not the worst but not the best. The school is fine academically, it is really lacking in extra activitities such as music, art, and drama clubs. There are a lot of different sport programs. The principal is great, most of the teachers are okay, just like any other school there are a few that are horrible and a few that are exceptional. The students are being taught the Catholic Religion, but they are not being taught to be Christian to others, which is a big disappointment. They are being taught to be polite to teachers and adults, but they are not being taught to be nice. A lot of the kids are sneaky and mean to one another from kindergarten on up. Most of the teachers do not seem to help foster friendships or help the children feel as though they fit in somewhere.

We have been generally very happy with the school, and especially with the principal, Mrs. Filler.
