i am a student at chichester middle school. i absoulutley hate that school. there is a fight almost every day. theres poor people that parents don't know how to control there kids. tattoos in 7 and 8th grade! someone please shut my school down! i barley learn anything because the teachers are alwys yelling at the students.
So far my 5th grader LOVES attending here. The elemetary was so so as far as principle leadership but the teachers she had in elementary were EXCELLENT. So far I'm finding the middle school to be great, her teacher in excellent always returns phone calls and e-mails right away and even came to one of my child's games on a weekend. They seem to be very encouraging after they figure out what your child is good at they really focus on that and use it to help them in areas where they could use some help. You couldn't ask for more!
This schook is greaaaaat ! The tachers give 200% to the kids and dont give outrageous amounts of homework. The food is pretty good. The principal isnt that great. She doesnt really get involved but besides that chi is a great school.
Overall I think Chi is a good middle school. I like that the 5th graders are on a seperate floor from the other grades. They don't give much homework. They need to give spelling test. I don't understand the need for gym every day. The buses usually get the kids to school late every day.
Chi is a wonderful school! The teachers are great but the principle is okay. I liked Mr. Salamone better, but Ms. Husar is okay too. The school's sports programs are also great! The track at the high school, which middle school students go to, is the best one i've seen so far! overall, this school is great! Im currently a student at chi...and i love it there! The foods bad, but you'll live! Trust me...I did.
I think the teacher at this school give 110% to their students. I think the principal needs to be more of a impact at this school. She needs to disaplin more and stay out of her office. Also I feel parents need to be more involve in their children. For the most part I feel it is a good school.
Parent involvement, web site improvements, and improved guidance personnel should help Chi move forward. Teacher quality is headed in the right direction.
Chichester is an up-and-coming school district and it is trying very hard to improve in all levels of education. The middle school is the 6th largerst in PA but it's very well divided among grades. The facilities are lacking compare to other school but the teachers are fantastic.
My children have had wonderful teachers at Chichester, especially at the middle school. The principal and Mr. Moon have always been willing to listen. The teachers in every grade go out of their way to help their students. I have always been treated with respect when dealing with my children's teachers. I know parents in other districts who have a hard time getting a hold of a teacher. My son and daughters teachers were after school for help, returned my calls right away, and I was never turned down for any conference I requested. Chi is great!
