After having my children in this school for a year, I decided to pull them out and homeschool. We were unfortunate enough to land in this school district, and needed to correct that mistake. Problems in the school included bullying, lack of teacher-parent communication, and 'teach for the test' academics. In addition, the PTA was virtually absent from the school, and the majority of parents wouldn't give you the time of day if you were not 'from' there.
Earl has been wonderful for my children. The smaller class sizes (although the district is trying to make them larger) has allowed personalized attention for all students and truly a family atmosphere. The addition of a reading teacher in 1st grade has allowed for more individual attention and outstanding test scores and student achievement.
