This is an extremely small school but very warm and inviting for the younger children. My daughter came from one of the larger schools and didnt like it at first but now loves it becasue of the personal atmosphere with everyone knowing eachother.

Chestnuthill is a small school with a big heart. The teachers and staff LOVE what they do and it's entirely evident in the way they teach and care for the students there.

This is a tiny school, K through 4th, with maybe 200 kids total. The teachers know all the children's names, their siblings names, the parents know each other, making it feel like a home away from home. Parental involvement is encouraged, and the PTO is very active with planning activities for the school. The academics are pretty good, I'd say a 4 out of 5, there isn't any accelerated classes, only a gifted program. The one drawback is that there is no after school activities for the kids, but the caring, supportive attitude of everyone involved in the school more than makes up for it. This is definately a great school, and I would recommend it to anyone.
