The teaching staff is outstanding.
Excellent school! Wonderful, dedicated, and caring teachers, staff, and principal. Highest quality cirriculum with attention to developing young minds. Even the kindergarten enrichment program is a wonderful experience for young students. Coopertown also has many extra-cirricular activities for the older grades, such as, flag football, field hockey, yearbook, and peer mediation, among others. Very well rounded. An excellent school in an excellent area!
My children attended Lynnwood Elementary before being re-districted into Coopertown. Lynnewood did a good job, but Coopertown has taken my children's education to the next level. I love this school, from the teachers to the support staff. My children have been challenged and supported in their various learning styles. Even though my daughter missed being placed in the gifted program by only one point, she was continually challenged by her 5th grade teacher.
Coopertown is an excellent elementary school. The district strives hard to provide challenging and exciting ways to teach young children. We have had only positive experiences with this school and all of it's programs, including the extended kindergarten program. It is a very caring and committed school. Excellent!!
We love this school. The teachers are very attentive and my daughter loves them! I love parents who think their child requires special placement because they are so smart. Doesn't everyone think his/her kid is brilliant? Just think of it this way---all the classes are for high acheivers.
An average school. The principle does not seem interested in the children. They place incoming children before testing them , this leads to a year of boredom for the child, it is also very difficult to have the child moved to the appropriate class the next year, in spite of achievements in their testing scores. Not the best elementary school in the district. This school good be better if the Principle was better. They lost a great principle when Mrs. Rostifo moved on to the middle school.
Excellent school district. Very attentive to the needs of the children. My daughter has been in Coopertown since 1st grade & we love it. Academically they worked very hard with her. My daughter has ADHD. The school picked it up & after 2 years I had gotten her diagnosed. Meanwhile the school district was doing everything they possibly could to accomodate her needs. Great neighborhood, playground & before & after care program.
