I am a former student, and at the school they put aside students with high academics, but praised athletes.

I have an an excellent experience with CMHS. I can't say anything bad. The faculty works very hard with each student's individual learning needs.

I'm a current student there and I love it. The new principal, Mr. David Helinski, has really done a phenomenal job. He's brought a sense of pride to the school that it didn't have before he got here. The school is a lot more disciplined but he also knows how to have fun

I graduated from Canon Mac in 2001, and I loved it there. I am now teaching in Florida, and I have to say that the education in PA is excellent in comparison to other states. Canon Mac had teachers that cared immensely about their students, took the time to show them new things and also made time for fun.

Academics are strong overall, especially in the areas of science and English; somewhat weak in the area of math. Staff involvement and interaction with students is excellent. Wide variety of extracurricular options - there is definitely something for everyone. Sports could focus a little less on football, a common theme among all schools. Administration is very accessible and supportive of parents.

For a school its size, it is okay. One of the problems is the school board. Safety is a concern and again it goes back to the school board. Our child attended high school and was bored most of the time. Classes did not challenge him, he did get accepted to college. Don't go here for sport unless it is wrestling or football. They don't really support other sports like swimming or cross country.
