FDCS is an great environment for Christian families! The teachers, parents and ultimately the students are dedicated to education and spiritual maturity. I am often in awe of what my son (2nd grade) learns both academically and spiritually. I have a few things on my wish list like a school website to view grades, etc., but those are far and few, compared to the great things the school offers such as affordable tuition (income based), almost free after care until 5:45p and a loving environment for my son.

This is the best school any Christian child could and would want to go to. My son started here in kindergarten and thank God he did. It was the best start a mother could have asked for. Now he is in the 2nd grade and excelling beyond my expectations. Thank God for the teachers and staff at this great school. 5 star education.

About the tests

In 2011-2012 Pennsylvania used the Pennsylvania System of State Assessments (PSSA) to test students in grades 3 through 8 and 11 in math and reading, in grades 5, 8 and 11 in writing, and in grades 4, 8 and 11 in science. The results for reading, writing, science and math are displayed on GreatSchools profiles. The PSSA is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Pennsylvania. The goal is for all students to score at or above proficient on the test.
