My First concerns with this school is the safety of my son. I have called the school numerous times and have been told that the harrassment of my school was being looked into. I even went in and filled out a bulling report and again I was told the same thing. Second, my son is in first grade and he said his bored in class because alot of the work he did in kindergarten and if he did not know something the teacher was to busy taking care of the children that were disrupting the class and he could not get her attention. I understand we are not in the greatest location but why treat our kids as scrum bags. This school is better then most in the arear but it is terrible in its own way.

if you're looking for a mediocre school that performs no better then the rest of chester upland school district. this school is for your child. after 6 years, the new principal decided halfway through the year that the kids were not being taught phonics for the first 5 years, which ever sleep affect it there state scores for performance. fourth 2011 the students in the school only read at 53 percent proficient, also demonstrated poor performance in mathematics. to be a university based elementary school they're not doing a very good job. the leadership at the school at wagner believe that their performance demonstrate great strides in academics for the city of chester

I am a supervisor of an After School Program in the city, and my concern is that although WPCS has a 5 star rating, help me understand why there are 3rd,4th, graders that can't read. They have homework that requires reading and these students can't get it done because they can't read. help me to help them.

WPCS is an excellent school for students in grades kindergarten - 4th grade. Next year they will be a K-5 school. The leadership is top notch. They have an excellent staff of teachers they are so dedicated to the children that attend the school. I'm a proud parent of a WPCS student.

The only thing the school needs in to go to 12 grade.
