The review before mine is totally inaccurate. The school wastes taxpayers dollars on decorations for the football field, the curriculum hasn't been updated in what has seemingly been decades...While most of the teachers would be good in other environments, you can't do much with a class of 20 kids who have no interest in respecting you whatsoever. The whole school district is a joke. And no, it's not the same as surrounding area schools as I've attended this school and surrounding schools and not only were the students more pleasant but the teachers were more willing to go out of their way to help the kids at other schools.

Overall Clairton is not a bad school and not a bad school district. This is a great school, so much that its probably better than the majority of the schools surrounding it. Yes, just like every school around western pennsylvania Clairton does focus more on sports than anything else. But the students that attend school also get the help they need to succeed in college and throughout life. We have a few bad teachers but who doesn't? We also have problems, but again, what school doesn't? When I graduate I will be proud to say I came from Clairton High School.
