My son is currently attending Glen Mills since August 2009. He has been doing very well. Learned a trade, earned work experience, and also earned his GED. He has also learned accountability. He learned to admit when he is wrong instead of arguing back to adults. He has learned that chores are a part of life along with keeping your space clean. He has also become a team leader. He has come a long way. Hopefully this all sticks with him when returns home next month. I do feel the boys should be more involved in daily activities and educational activities. I felt his counselor and staff really cared for the boys, especially those who cared about themselves.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
