I am tired of this heterogenous classroom. My child has to wait for some of the other students to catch up and get it. Because we don't want anyone to feel bad about themselves...You know I when I went to school we had different levels the ones who didn't get it easy, the average students and the ones who excell. What is wrong with that!? .The school has remediation and excelleration at the end of the day but is there really any excelleration my daughter says she doesn't really do anythin gwhile the others are in remediation, She will go and collect the recycling maybe do a puzzle page but no real excelleration. If she needs challenged then please challenge her!

I think that this is a good school, although we don't have a lot of extra cirricular activities due to the fact that we are small and in a rural area. We have good teachers that are able to work with students one-on-one with students; and that is very helpful. So considering everything, I believe that this school does a great job with all things considered. P.S.- We have an excellent high school math teacher!

This school is small school...not a lot of extra curricular options. The parent involvement is good. Academically they are trying to improve.

This school did not have any physical education class until this year, there is minimal parental involvement, and as for the quality of education it is very low and MANY of the students are struggling. I have two children in this school and I have had many problems helping them succeed in this school. My oldest son has a disability and is on a second grade level and every year they continue passing him even though I have ask them every year to hold him back so that he may 'catch up' but as of now he is in 4th grade. My youngest son is in 1st grade and he has been tested to be as high as a fourth grade level in some subjects,(thanks to my home schooling him last year)although the school will not allow him to be in the gifted classes.

I recently pulled my child from Turkeyfoot Elem. I am now homeschooling her. Some of these classes don't have books yet. Math & phonics books are supposed to be on the way? I don't hold everyone responsible. There are people there who care.
