This is a wonderful school that truly cares about your children and their learning. I cannot say enough to do this school justice. My child has been enrolled since preschool and looks forward to going. He knows all the children and all the teachers through eigth grade. The school is involved in the community and warmly welcomes parents and vistors. You won't go wrong enrolling your child.

This school was an awful experience for our family. The education and the environment in the school was not good. Most of the teachers and the principal do not show a caring attitude towards the children. This seems to be "just a job" for them. Since switching to another school my child has changed so much, for the better.

My daughter is so happy at St. Joseph's school. She began initially in the local public school and had a horrible time due to advancement for her age. She was miserable! The public school would passive aggressively let her know that she was not accepted by constantly telling her she was "too young" for her grade. From day ONE of entering St. Joseph she was welcomed and accepted by teachers and classmates. She is doing very well and loves her school! Look past the old building and you will find joy and love of learning inside. Yes, it may need new windows, but the public school was a beautiful new building and it was a terrible environment for my child. St. Joseph school is more than worth the money!

This is a great school for children to learn in. They have excellent teachers who care about each of the children and how well they are doing. If children need to be challenged they find ways to challenge. They have small enough classes that they can pay special attention to the kids who need extra help. Our daaughter has been at the school for 3 years and what she has learned is astounding, she is above her peers in the neighbor hood how go to the public school. She is offered more at St. Joseph acedemically than at the public level. The children are also taught to be responsible for themselves and to have respect and to help other classmates if they need it. The school provides a wounderful learning enviroment and activities for the kids to participate in even the kindergarten to second graders can participate in.

One of our children has attended this school for the past four years. We liked this school so much we enrolled our other child too for the past two years. This school has an excellent emphasis on academics, and on Catholic faith formation. We were particularly pleased with the quality of the academics in the upper grades. All of the curriculum has been updated in the past two years and the teachers know the materials. Don't be put out by the lack of a fancy gym. This school more than makes up for it with the quality of the academics and the safe, nurturing environment it offers. The class sizes are small and there is good one-on-one attention.

This is a wonderful school, w/caring teachers, teacher aids and workers. My son attended PS 3 & 4yr and now is enrolled in Kindergarten. All the parents are very involved, the teachers care about the students and their success. The school has an excellent science program and a great computer lab. They have a library. I would rate this school 5 stars, but they do not have a gym or playground. Those are the only 2 downfalls. The teacher to student ratio is small enough that each student gets indivdualized attention in a group setting. I am not sure why the parent voted this the worst school ever yet provided no explanation. I like the fact that they emphasize religion. I am a Catholic, but non-practicing. My son is learning about his faith in a way I could not teach him. They expect the best from their students.
