Excellent school for all. OLSH is by far the best high school. It is very religiously inspired and controlled.
For OLSH to care about a student the parents need to have money to donate. Otherwise, you have a target. Don't send your children to this school!!
This school is unbelievably horrible. The principle and vice principle are very unfair to those students who don't pay full tuition. Don't send your kids here the school is like jail.
Our school is filled with love and community. We are educated in the way of St. Francis of Assisi. To love our neighbor as we love ourselves and to extend that love to all of God's creatures. OLSH is a national 'Peace Site' and our building is totally green. There is an emphasis on respect for the earth. We have solar panels on the roof and in the yard which provide heat & hot water to the building. Turkey,deer,fox and more amble across our 75 acre campus! OLSH is awesome!
If you can tolerate discrimination and a principal who only cares about her 'favorite' students - this is a wonderful school. Teachers are awesome. Facility is excellent. However if you get on the bad side of the principal or assistant principal your childs' life will be miserable!
OLSH is one of the best, if not the best, in the Diocese of Pittsburgh. It's quality and commitment to education is unbeatable. The faculty, staff, and students are by far and outstanding group of individuals.
