Poor curriculum and weak teachers. Lack of effective discipline and leadership. Leave the Diocese of Scranton schools if you want a better education and a true Catholic school.

Our children have been attending MMS for the past two years and we can't imagine sending them anywhere else. Great school, admin staff and teachers are wonderful (great Pre-K program) and exemplary parent network organization-PNO. Parents are encouraged to get involved in their children's education/activities and the overall atmosphere is very warm and inviting. Our kids thrive in there. Thank you MMS!

I love MMS because of the feeling you get when you bring your kids there. You feel safe and you know they will be cared for as well as educated. I have two kids there and they wake up everyday wanting to go to school - how rare is that. Each teacher is wonderful in their own way. It is family oriented and community oriented school.

At Monsignor McHugh, my sons know every teacher and every teacher knows them by name. I know they are getting a superior education and will be well prepared for the future because of Monsignor McHugh School's emphasis on excellence in all things!

Small community school that really cares about each individual student. Most of the children love the school and staff that work there.

This school community is a real family. The children are the main focus from parents, teachers, and support staff alike. Our Catholic identity makes us strong, caring, and community minded. Our outreach programs include Toys for Tots, the local food pantry, and the county homeless shelters to name a few.

Monsignor Mchugh is one of the finest schools in the area. My 4 grandchildren attend and they really love the school. The academics are about a year above the average grade. No sitting on the fence about this school for your children. It's a Win Win...The staff is really great, they make you feel like family. The Pre-school is exceptional for the 3 year olds.Sister Pat is wonderful with the children, she brings a wounderful way for children to experience the starting of school.........The school goes up to eighth grade and the older students look out for the younger ones. This school gives you peace of mind.
