I was very pleased with the pre-k 3 program offered at St. Joe's. I was hesitant, at first, of sending my 3 year old to school but now that the school year is complete, I am very glad I did. My child has blossomed socially and academically. My child has learned about government (The Pledge of Allegiance), religion, science, arts and crafts, listening, sharing and a plethora of other attributes. She participated in group activities as well as one-on-one time with her teachers. There was a perfect balance between playtime and learning time for a 3 or 4 year old. Her teachers were tremendous and she now has many new friends. My oldest will be attending Pre-K 4 fall of 2011 and my youngest Pre-K 3.

Everytime I am at the school, either for an event or just to get my grandchildren after school, I am always impressed with just how friendly everyone is and how devoted they are to the children. I am also pleased with how the girls are doing scholastically. Someone has instilled a great love of reading in them and that means they are not always into TV and video games. In my mind, they could not be in a better school.

This school is the best! The principal is beyond amazing. The staff really places the needs of all the children first. Parents are involved on every level of education. I have 2 children at the school, one with special needs, the other advanced and both are receiving a quality education with the love and support of everyone. My children are not only learning reading and math, but they are taught values and service to God and others. I am so proud that we have placed our children in such a great school

I currently have two children at St. Joe's and would make no other choice for their schooling. The small school environment, involved teachers, and an academic curriculum that is both challenging and flexible makes this the right school for us. Students who are above average and students requiring additional academic support receive what they need in an integrated classroom. An overall attitude of service to others is an integral part of the school and is demonstrated and modeled by staff and faculty on a daily basis. Our principal is definitely hands on and is very effective addressing concerns of parents as well as open to ideas that include parents and families in the whole educational process. This school stands out as a close and nurturing environment where kids are put first. Faculty have true heart here and students know that their best interest in the number one concern of teachers.

I currently have two children that attend St. Joseph and I could not be happier. The teachers really care about their students. The school's motto of One Little School, One Big Family is very true in so many ways. I highly recommend that any parent looking for a school that will not only provide the academic needs of their child but also personal attention and true caring, check out St. Joseph School in Dallastown, PA.

I just had a son graduate from St. Joseph School this past June. He began there in PK3 and is now going onto York Catholic High School in the Fall. I will still have a daughter in 5th grade at St. Josephs this Fall. I can't say enough about the warmth and care that the teachers show about each and every student. The small school setting is perfect, the principal knows every student by name and emits a feeling of 'family' in her care and concern for every child. The school is academically sound and really prepares the students for the schools beyond 6th grade. They are well nurtured and yet, well prepared in both academics and spirituality. We have been blessed to find such a school that we could actually afford and yet come out on top with the quality of education!!!
