My child was at the public school before he came to Immaculate Conception Academy & I am so thankful that I made the decision to transfer. The principal, Mrs. Foley, is a big reason why we are at the school. She sets the expectation for the children that they will learn, behave & watch out for one another. The children show discipline in the classroom and respect for adults. Mrs. Foley hands delivers report cards to each student, and because she knows each student by name (and parents, and siblings, ect), she is able to offer each one feedback on their progress. The dedication of the teachers, administrators, staff is admirable. This is definately a school you will want to check out if you are looking for a nurturing, family atmosphere & an academic program targeted at "purposeful learning". I feel my child is getting an excellent, well-rounded education while spending 6+ hours a day around people who help him develop the kind of character any parent would be proud of.

I love Immaculate Conception Academy for my son, who is in first grade! Most of the teacher genuinely care so much about their students and the success of their students. I love that the school is small, because all of the students know each other and help each other out.

Both of my children attend ICA and have done so since preschool. It is a very loving and nurturing environment. The principal knows every child by name. Many of the teachers know every child by name even if they are not their student. The children are challenged academically. There is a wonderful art and music program. CYO sports are available. Religion is key at ICA, since it is a Catholic grade school. They encourage and rely upon parental involvement in almost all aspects of the school day and extracurricular activities.
