The school has good teachers and all, but the food is horrible in the cafeteria. The teachers are friendly, funny, and encouraging, and the lighting is sufficient. The stairs have a mural with the name of the school and a design. The school is easily accessible from 611 .The library is also the best way to be a good student. The library has books and knowledge is unlimited at a school library. But you gotta remember that the school is not for kids who buy lunch often.
This school is not a good school. The food is horrible. I found a red stained chicken nugget (and they bounce) and a contact in my soup. The school treats everybody like 5 year olds. Some of the teachers are bad too. Once I messed up and a teacher said to me I was just like my brother. Also you can't stand up for yourself, if you do they just tell you to sit down and be quite. Trust me, this is not a good school.
it is a great school and the teachers are great. the school is very safe it is like one of those state prison becuase everybody is very over protective. also the food stinks.
Be careful if your child lags behind or is having difficulty with the kindergarden curriculum, they may label him/her as being a behavioral problem and want him transferred to a 'special' program (parent)
Groveland elementary is a relatively recent addition to the Central Bucks School District. It continues a legacy of high performance for the CBSD. The school scores and testing continue to rate highly in the PSSA testing and annual reviews continue to point to great achievement by Groveland. The school has excellent facilities for learning and the we have found the curriculum to be challenging for our two boys. Because of growth in the area there is some concern about the relative tenure of some of the teachers. Greg Nolan generally seems to be an effective administrator.
