This is our 6th year at OLMC and we are truly happy with the school. Our daughter attended a highly rated public elementary school in the area and we can honestly say that the quality of the education at Mt. Carmel has been far superior. We like the traditional curriculum, as well as the religious education. They do get quite a bit of work, but not so much that it is overwhelming. We also like that they take discipline seriously- bullying is NOT tolerated! Everyone is very friendly and welcoming of new students. It is a fairly small school with a long history in the community. It also offers a great variety of activities (sports, band, choir, school plays, etc.) that you probably wouldn't expect in a smaller school The Home & School association is phenomenal, very involved in a POSITIVE matter- so far we haven't experienced any of the pettiness that we saw at the public school. Most importantly, the kids are really happy to be here. We highly recommend this school!
The school is a family and my kid gets up everyday willingly to go!
