I am a former student at Dunmore High school and now am currently employed by the district. Going to high school at Dunmore was the absolute best experience any 14-18 year old can ask for. Friendly teachers that would bend over backwards for you and a principal that actually really cares about his student. I give Dunmore 5 out of 5 stars. Best high school in PA.

I went to Dunmore High School, and it was the best experience I could have had. The teachers were high quality, and plenty of attention is given to students to help them succeed. It was an 'A+' experience!

Dunmores a great school for those looking to enroll their students into a school to learn great social skills. To quote the economic teacher Mr. Hopkins ' the student will learn if the student wants to learn, and if the parents teach proper values' the education at dunmore is quite good, its no worse then any school near or in its district. but the students gain more by being with a smaller class because they find close friends, and have good relationships with teachers. Ihe community is great. I wouldnt reccommend any other school

Dunmore High School is a great place..simply said. You will be so impressed with the faculty, students and administration starting your child's first day. At Dunmore, we have great academics, athletics and drama programs that will surely mold your child into the student and most importantly, the person that you want he or she to be. I'm speaking from first-hand knowledge and I can honestly say that Dunmore was a great choice for me. I am going to the college of my dreams well prepared, never to forget what Dunmore High School did for me, it made me a great student but an even better person.

Dunmore schools staff are a very close knit community where they've known each other most of their lives. This has benefits and drawbacks, they stick together, support one another and defend each other, may they be right or wrong. prioritys lay on themselves not so much on their students, favortism is the criteria for enhancement of the students education. Last but not least, one would think that Dunmore being the size and close knit as it seems that education standards would be much higher than their counterparts(ex. Scranton schools) but to my surprize they are lower
