Profile Completeness

INTERMEDIATE

Want to improve this school’s profile? You can!

All schools on GreatSchools begin with BASIC completeness, which includes important information like contact details and test scores. It’s up to the school community to take the next steps. As a parent or community member, you can share what you know with other families by writing a review or answering a few questions about what the school offers. As a school leader, you can upload photos, describe school programs, and more with an Official school profile.

The completeness meter moves to INTERMEDIATE, then ADVANCED, and finally HONOR ROLL as you complete the following: 10 or more reviews, at least 1 photo, and 9 program questions parents find helpful.

I love this school. I went as a child and I love that my daughter is going here too. They are always keeping parents informed on events that are happening. I love that it is a secured school. That makes me feel better knowing that my child is safe while learning.

Wonderful teachers and staff! I am not very fond of the principal. I found her to be very unfriendly and at times even inappropriate. I have heard many others say the same thing about the principal.

Good school and teachers. Some of the teachers really care. The principal has got to go. Very combative and unhelpful. Isn't nice to the children as well. Counting the days until the district realizes how bad she is and gets rid of her.

My son is going into 3rd grade this coming school year (2012-13). He has been there since Kindergarten. This is a great school, I have no complaints. The teachers my son has had so far were wonderful and he always loves going to school. I have never had any racial problems among the students or staff towards my son, this is just generally a very good school, good educational program as well.

Teachers are outstanding. The principal however could use an attitude adjustment. She is the most unfriendly person I have ever dealt with. I miss the old principal :( Having said that, I am glad all 4 of my kids are finally out of that place! While the teachers really care about the students its just a matter of time till they no longer due because of the principal. Sad. And the PTA?! A more stuck up group you'll never find!

I love Palmer elementary School because they have the most awesome teachers, and they always have amazing assembly's and field trips, very intelluctual learing experiences. All of their teachers are incredibly smart and patient and kind, and I think they deserve to win this contest, so they can get upgraded supplies, and or remodeling of an old school.

Palmer Elementary is an excellent school with wonderful teachers. Parents who complain should maybe step in and volunteer and be involved in thier child's education. You get out what you put in! Palmer Proud!

I pulled my son from this school after 1 month. We had recently moved to Easton and were used to schools with much better quality of academics and faculty from out of state.

This is my daughter's third year at Palmer. She has been blessed with excellent teachers and wonderful experiences throughout all three school years. Our overall experience has been VERY positive thus far. She is doing very well as are many of her friends also attending Palmer. The statement posted in August stating that ALL of the children are doing poorly in this school is ridiculous! My little guy will start next fall and my husband and I are very excited about it.

The children are all preforming low and the building is very old and depressing and poorly set up. We pulled the kids out of this district as quickly as we could, it isn't safe.

This will be out 3rd year at Palmer and is by far the worst! The education is behind and the students are not required to excel. The leadership and the principals are wonderful but the BOE needs to strengthen the grade level work. I find other schools to be doing much harder materials than at Palmer.

My daughter has been at this school for two years (now in 2nd). The teachers have been wonderful and the class work I feel is appropriate. Communication between the teachers and home has been satisfactory, however communication between other faculty and home has been less then perfect. Once it was discussed, the matter seems to be much better. It would be nice to offer extracurricular activities for younger grades (or at least concerts, etc).

Both of my children were entered into the gifted/enrichment program because they had special needs. These needs were not met by the school faculty, although much credit needs to go to the Enrichment instructor for his efforts and compassion. The remainder of the administration was unable to stand up for the students right to an adequate education (due to their budget concerns). Promises of special programs were made and broken, thus breaking the heart of the student in need. Parent concerns were met with remarks regarding the tendency of parents of the gifted to push children to hard. It was only when the children reached middle school that the parents concerns were deemed well-founded. If only our opinion had been given due credit 4 years ago, maybe there would be less struggle and more success.
