I graduated from OLOL in 1979, yes 35 years ago, but I contend (more now than ever) that I got the better education in my high school years than I ever did in grades kindergarten thru 8th grade. My first nine years of education, you see were in the public school setting. I think there for that I have a better reference point than those who went to school either all public or all private. Teacher strikes were never an issue then or even now in catholic school. I believe the biggest reason has to do with DEDICATION of the teachers to the students not their bank accounts. My only regret is that I didn't go to private school all of my school years.

We could not be happier with the quality of education provided to our daughter at Our Lady of Lourdes. Her teachers have all been excellent and the curriculum is outstanding. Best choice over all local public schools and a great value in education.

Wouldn't send my children anywhere else. You could have the worst children in the world, send them here and they will turn out to be the best!!

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
