BCA has truly been a blessing to my family. The school administration works closely with the parents in preparing the whole child to be responsible, disciplined individuals who will strive to demonstrate moral integrity and Christian values. The size of the school creates a perfect atmosphere for scholastic achievement. Students are able to progress at their own speed while academic balance is closely monitored. Students receive recognition for these achievements with your typical 'honor' programs, however, these are considered 'incentive programs.' There are different levels for achievement, all of which tie in the child's conduct to acquiring the specific privileges related to their achievement. The older students take a genuine interest in their younger schoolmates. Often returning after graduation to encourage and support their former schoolmates at recitals, award programs and graduations. Extracurricular activities inherently suffer in a school this size but the current administration has demonstrated a desire to create more opportunities. Private music lessons are available and at least two opportunities are made for the students to demonstrate their achievements formally. My only disappointment has been a lack of vocal music, chorus, etc., in the past few years but there seems to be a desire by the administration to address this issue. I can't image my children being in a better environment for learning, witnessing Godly character, or being loved.
