Clark Wood Elementary is a fabulous school! Teachers and staff really care about the students. At 7am, the parking lot is full and at 4pm the parking lot is still full. They are very dedicated and put the students needs first.

I would have to agree that Clarkwood Elementary is far below average. My recommendation for parents of children in this school is VISIT your childs classroom for the day. Ask questions of the Adminstration and listen to your child. If things dont seem right, they probally aren't.

All of our children have attended clark wood elementary. Over the years we have found it to be below average in both academics and adminstration. There has been some super teachers, however there are many more just biding their time. This is a small town school with limited resources and opportunity . We have children at both ends of the spectrum , one with a learning disablity and IEP and one that is gifted. We have found this school unable to provide the degree of help or challenge that other schools can provide. They do not offer and advance math or foriegn language .
