It's a great school in a small town. Wish there was a more diverse poupulation but still everyone is very respectful. The teachers are always available and very involve

E.A.H.S. is one of those for the most part old-fashioned high schools, however because it is situated in a small town it generally shows things arent quite as advanced or more developed than a larger town such as Pittsburgh or Erie etc. However, I do agree that there is much that the school can improve upon education wise. In regards to the teacher bit I do agree with the other parents that the younger teachers are out to try and make friends however it isnt quite a bad thing if the teachers can get the niceness and cooperation from the students that they can use that to their advantage in teaching and can construct a mucher higher education for their students instead of lollygagging around. The school is well kept though and is one of the most outstanding looking high schools that i have been to.

E.A.H.S. leaves a lot to be desired. With both a gifted child and a below grade level child. I Can safely say they offer very little for either category. My child that is below grade level, is left behind with little options and no programs offered by the administrators . My gifted child is being held back with no gifted programs being offered, no attempt to offer AP classes or even something as simple as Algebra class in the 7th and 8th grade level. No flexiblity or even an attempt to address above average students. One other issue that is very disturbing is the control issues , there is no attempt to allow the students to become independant thinkers or give them opportunity to make responsible decisions for themselves. Very controlling atmosphere. IMO this school needs a huge overhaul of adminstrators. Education, flexibilty, opportunities & kids should be 1st .

The school is clean and well maintained, However the education given stinks. The education use to top of the line and enjoyable, but the younger teachers don't know how to teach the students they are to busy wanting to be everybody's friend. The older teachers if they haven't already retired have 'I am here and get paid just the same if I teach or not', kind of an 'I don't care attitude'. In reality this school could do with an over haul and get focused back on the matter at hand which is education....In the light of things, small class rooms and community.
