Want to improve this school’s profile? You can!

All schools on GreatSchools begin with BASIC completeness, which includes important information like contact details and test scores. It’s up to the school community to take the next steps. As a parent or community member, you can share what you know with other families by writing a review or answering a few questions about what the school offers. As a school leader, you can upload photos, describe school programs, and more with an Official school profile.

The completeness meter moves to INTERMEDIATE, then ADVANCED, and finally HONOR ROLL as you complete the following: 10 or more reviews, at least 1 photo, and 9 program questions parents find helpful.

St Luke instills morals and values into the students. Teachers attempt to guide students into making the right choices. While there is no perfect school or staff the ones at SLS overall have the best interest of the students at heart.

My grandson attends St. Luke's PreK program. His father passed away in December 2009. The love and support from his teachers and principal is phenomenal. He comes home from school and talks about his friends and teachers. He sings new songs and has learned so much that it is remarkable! Thanks St. Lukes!

St. Luke School has been a huge blessing for my nephew. They keep the classes small and they have skilled teachers who know how to teach every student and who are skilled at handling discipline problems when they do arise which is not that often. The sense of community is outstanding and the leadership is very strong. I hope thsi school remains open for many years. The entire family puts our money together for my nephew to attend thsi great school because they have worked wonders with him on all aspects of development.

i switched my son from public schoolsto catholic. I am very happy happy with that decision. I think children need to feel like they matter. Smaller classrooms and staff that cares helps children to feel that way.

We visited several private and public schools before deciding on St. Luke's and are thrilled that we did. The principal is the best we have seen (we are both teachers as well as parents). She is obviously in her element as a principal and still has the heart of a teacher. She is thoroughly dedicated, deeply spiritual, firm, loving, enthusiastic, and not afraid to have fun and let the kids have fun, too. She enforces the rules, supports her teachers, and listens to parents. The atmosphere of love and positivity is palpable. The teachers are loving and dediated and the parents are as well. I often lament paying tuition but would not pay it if it weren't worth every penny. And it is. No school is pefect, but St. Luke's is as close to perfect for our children as we have found.

I am about to graduate my third child from St. Luke School. I have been a part of this outstanding community for 14 years and thank God every day that my children have been so fortunate to be educated in the best school in our region! Our principal not only makes sure that our students are getting the best possible education, but she makes it her mission every single second of every single day to instill strong values and convictions, Christian ethics, self esteem and a great love of God. St. Luke offers a challenging curriculum and enriching extra curricular activities that have given my children an excellent foundation for outstanding performance in high school and beyond!

I'm a parent of a second grader and a fourth grader. I couldn't be happier with the education they are receiving at St. Luke's. The teachers are wonderful and I've never felt as if my concern are shoved aside. Sending our children to St. Luke is the best decision we made. It's created a solid base for their future education to build on.

We looked at 3 different catholic schools before we picked St. luke's for our children. We couldn't be happier. The students are very well rounded and well prepared for high school. We don't live in the neighborhood and it is worth the drive everyday for our children to attend St. Lukes.

I attended St. Luke's as a child and now both of my children attend school there. Let me say there is no way they would be at any other school, especially not in the city of Erie. My kids are way ahead academically compared to their friends of the same age who attend public school. Small class size, one on one attention, a fantastic, caring faculty and staff, wonderful extra curricular activities, and an involvement in giving back to the community are just a few reasons this school is special.

At St. Luke you get more then a school you get a family. I am a parent of a 6th grader and not only am I pleased with the administrations, teachers and students. I am also happy that the values I teach my daughter at home are being reinforced at school.

We chose to send our child to St Luke's because it was one of the few schools that offered a half day preschool. It was disappointing to find out in September that they are transistioning to a full day preschool and overloaded the classroom to the point that my child has class in the cafeteria because there isn't room in the classroom. Poor planning by administration. The teachers seem to be great though.

St. Luke School does not put too much emphasis on sports. We are supportive of all our extracurricuar programs but academics comes first. We want our children to be well-rounded and enjoy their years at St. Luke. I teach at St. Luke and send my children here. I wouoldn't change a thing!

Saint Luke School ROCKS! The Principal, Mrs. Stalsky, is the best. There is no one more caring and no principal like here in Erie. The love and support that our family has received from Saint Luke School has been unbelievable and our kids really look forward to going to school every day. At first, we weren't thrilled that it was a 'Catholic' and 'private' school, but, they teach a solid value-based education and we appreciate that a lot more than we did before enrolling our children at Saint Luke.

I love Saint Luke School. It is a wonderful school, offering 3 year old Preschool through 8th grade. My kids love the school and so do we. Since we first started there, we've felt at home. The school has a very family-orientated atmosphere and plenty of opportunities for families to get involved and meet new families!
