Not only are the students receiving an excellent faith based education but the school is moving and growing in a positive direction adding languages and going wireless, OLMC does have a vision for the future!

Mt. Carmel is a great school. The principal is caring and the teachers are great. The students are proud of their school.

OLMC is a great school with great teachers that care about the students. The principal cares about every child and teachers in the building. A No Bullying policy has been enforced this year. The students are very aware of the consequences for their inappropriate behavior. As you walk the halls of OLMC you can see that children are an important part of the school. Their pictures, art work and posters are in the halls of the school. Mass is an part of the weekly schedule. All students particiapte in someway at the Mass. The environment of the school is always welcoming and open.

The school has inconsistent enforcement of rules including the dress code policy. Often follow up on situations is promised, but not followed through on. Bullying is inconsistently addressed. Class sizes have been increasing with declining enrollment, but costs continue to skyrocket. Tuition raises yearly by more than $100.00 with additional fees for fundraising and technology. Vision is very narrow, no big picture viewing. There are several clubs, programs and sports for the children to participate in. Teachers vary from apathetic and rude to unbelievably awesome, enthusiastic and far beyond expectations. Leadership is lacking with the principal not enforcing rules, not insisting on professional teacher conduct, not responding to parental requests for follow up, etc.
