I graduated from Luther Memorial and I am now in my second quarter at Collegiate Academy. I went there from K-8th grade and I highly recommend sending your children there. It provides a close, family atmosphere and I have made the best friends ever there. We are still all very close and every time my friends and I get the chance we go back and visit. As a matter of fact, I am going to the Christmas Program tonight. I absolutely LOVE this school!! I couldn't have asked for a better group of classmates, teachers, or staff members. I think of everyone there as my extended family. LMLC teachers know you and how you learn best and will work with you to help you succeed. I was very well prepared and ranked 9th out of the freshman at my new school.

They have a wonderful sports program and Right now Luther Memorial is trying to get laptops! They already have wifi internet. Academics are very good. They push us to do great work. Luther Memorial has a Care Squad in which we can get service hours. It is run by Heather Smith who also helps lead chapel. With Mrs. Wells as a guidance counselor there's usually not socially related problems or cliques. Mrs. Belott is the most dedicated principal I have ever seen. She's always there for you in everything you do. There is a 24 game comepetition every year and a Geography Bee. This school is academically competitive in a very friendly way.

I went there from kindergarten and I just graduated from 8th grade and I'm currently enrolled in Collegiate academy getting very good grades. This school is a great school and I encourage you send your kids there. The academics are stressed and the school is very small and it is just like a family.

lmlc has done wonders for my children's overall well being and attitudes towards school. They now have much more respect for teachers and fellow students than they did in public school.

Our family has been at Luther for four years and have been very happy with our choice. Any problems we have had were handled quickly. The teachers and entire staff are very caring. The atmosphere of the school is family-like and the children are treated like individuals. We like the fact that everyone in the school knows all the students. They don't just get lost in the crowd. When transitioning from grade to grade, our child already knows the new teacher very well, so there is little to no adjustment each year. The academic curriculum is above most in the Erie area. Most of last year's 8th grade class was accepted at Collegiate Academy. No school is going to make everyone happy, but this one does its best. **Best of all, they have Mrs. G.-#1 teacher in the world! :)

Academics were behind the school district we came from. My child's teacher seemed to hate children and had no rapport with them whatsoever. I've never had so many parent-teacher and parent-principal conferences anywhere before or since. Kids in the school had major discipline and bullying problems that were never addressed by the staff. There were no sports or after school extra-curriculars. We could not wait for the school year to end so my child could transfer out of there. Tuition was cheap, but you get what you pay for.

Wonderful school. Dedicated and enthusiastic teaching staff. Academics are stressed. Course work is challenging, even in Kindergarten (full day). Discipline is expected, demerit system enforced. Tuition is reasonable.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
