At first I did not think Burton was a good school. As the year has progressed, I have noticed that the teachers really do give their all and work beyond normal school hours. The school may not look the greatest or be located in the best area, but there are positive things to say about this school. They have several activities for parents and students and they focus on making learning a fun experience. I also commend the principle, Ms. Johnson, she is outside everyday greeting students and parents even in the terrible weather!
I am very disappointed in the quality of the staff. Teachers are okay, but some of the other staff members are not constructive and appear unhappy with their jobs! I am not impressed at all! This school needs more love and attention! =(
The faculty is truly willing to assist children, parents, and other educators. Teachers are kind and considerate and share ideas, resources, research, and lessons to help each individual student. Each child is valued at this school and teachers look to help them utilize their gifts. Thank you!
