Glenwood Elementary School

I am so sorrry that these older reviews of Glenwood are posted. My Son attends Glenwood and we love it. We transferred from a Private school and were nervous due to the quality of an Education that would be recieved at a public school. I have constant contact with his teachers(this is our second year now)They are extremely organized on the first few days of school and the curriculum is challenging.They do all the can for the more challenging students but they hold the Parents accountable for their own children and I love that about this school.

My kids go to Glenwood School and I could not be happier. If they have a problem, they know they can go to the teacher. If they do not understand their studies the teachers make time after school to go over it. They will stay after for a few days until they understand what the teachers are trying to teach. I would recommend this school to anyone.

Both of my kids went to this school. I give it a 1 for the principal and I agree with the other parent about intimidation. This school is horrible there is about 3 good teachers and they call you for any little petty thing the kids do and do not treat each student fairly.

I'm disappointed in Glenwood. My children go there and they lean more towards putting fear in the children and leading through intimidation. A few 'good' teachers but not enough to raise my rating.

I am a big fan of Glenwood Elementary. This is my second oldest daughter's third year in this school and she is thriving. My oldest daughter went here for two years. She struggled in her previous school but now entered 7th grade in honors classes. All of the teachers are great but I have to say Mr. Rick Heasley is by far the most outstanding teacher my kids have had the pleasure of having as a teacher.
