Excellent teachers, great reading program, challending programs, district isn't as diverse as I would love to see but overall quite pleased with the district. However, some of handbook is outdated such as medication policy. A school nurse isn't a full time position at all the elementary schools.
Too much emphasis is place on test taking. Lacks Computer savvy teachers. Great Music program (it's Kiski, they over emphasis music at every level). Teachers are rarely seen at after school events..i.e. award ceremonies, PTA meetings, sports.
No after school programs to speak of, some sports (basketball) but the school is under utilized in after hours
