I am concerned about the legality of the redistricting that was done within this school about 4 years ago when indeed, more economically - challenged and consequently more children of color from a large apartment complex that had previously been included in another school were "red lined" INTO this school and OUT of a higher-achieving school. Furthermore, it is sad that while Pennsbury School District chose to do this, the staff demographic does not reflect the group of children it serves, and thus staff members are less likely to understand or empathize with the needs of the children and their families, which results in lower expectations and misunderstandings. Children who may need counseling or community supports are more likely to be labeled as "bad" and/or ignored. More community outreach needs to be done to show love, care and concern about the education of these children. I am disappointed that Pennsbury would succumb to a NIMBY attitude from other parents or educators who may have put pressure on them to REDRAW the lines, and thus REINFORCE beliefs about lower SES children's futures. It is ironic that the school sits right beside the Pennsbury administrative offices.

My daughter went to Fallsington from first through fifth grade and this school did wonders for her! The principal is very involved and knows all of the kids. The teachers are very dedicated and truly care about the students. I'm glad that my daughter went there and miss this school very much!

Fallsington is the worst school in the Pennsbury School District. Do not let some of these comments fool you. Just take a look at the ratings for all schools in Pennsbury. There are none less than a rating of 7 out of 10, except..you got Fallsington that has a 3 out of 10. I think the principal and school board need to get their heads out of their.. bleep and see there is a need to make changes. I know serval parents who hate this school and how it's run and I can't blame them it's terrible. I had a child there and had nothing but problems. We moved him and have never had another issue like we had there. It just goes to show it was in fact the school and it's staff.

Coming from Philadelphia School system, I find Fallsington School to be a blessing. The principal is so involved in his children learning and development that it makes you feel as if your child was the only one in the schools. The teachers are so committed and knowledgeable that you know your child is learning. The parent/school involvement demonstrates how well put together the school is. Both my daughter and I love it.

My second child attends Fallsington, so far I have had seven consecutive years of experience with this school. My children and I love this school for many reasons. Their test scores have shown the educational benefits and the level of care provided by the principal, teachers and support staff. I also know the test scores are directly related to MY level of care, responsibility and involvement as a parent. Teachers are not solely responsible for any childs education or test scores. I do not agree with the fact that the school board decided to concentrate nearly all the economically challenged students at our small school instead of splitting them among some of the larger schools with more resources, but my children have not suffered as a result. I think most of our students are more accepting and tolerant due to the diversity overall. Keep up the great work Fallsington!

This is the first I have ever heard of anyone not happy with the school. Advanced students have AMP opportunities and challenge work given to them by their dedicated teachers. My son is in a few of these programs. Maybe the person who wrote the last review was not qualified for these advanced classes. Any teacher my children have had have been very dedicated to the success of every child.

This school may be great for kids and the kids may just love it to pieces, but the education is horrendous. The 'advanced' students learn 'Advanced Social Studies' Which does nothing for them academically what so ever. I have interacted with many parents who are very disappointed with their children's grades and test results. It is a horrible school which no child should have to go to. They may be nice and friendly, but the education needs help.

I love this school, and so do my kids! Everyone knwos everyone else and the teachers are great!. The test scores are not indicative of what the school is all about. The school has the highest level of students where they move in and out of the distrcit. Thanks to the new redistricting. So the scores can not be completely reflective of students who were taught soemwhere else and then moved here. We are the school that is small (which is GREAT)) but that also means that students are sister schooled in a lot. These parents who are sister schooled in opt to stay at our school because it is so Great! What has not been published yet is the 2009 PSSA results. I do not know what they are but I do know we met the state standard of making adequate progress. My children have never had a problem

I love this school. It's true when they say it's a hidden gem of Pennsbury. All teachers, staff and admin are so caring ans enthusiastic. It's a small school environment and everyone knows everyone else. The PTO is warm and welcoming (not something you find inevery school), they make it really easy for parents to get involved no matter what their schedule is like. From students to admin I LOVE this school. There is not one teacher I would not want my kids to get.
