I feel that the school focuses more on extracurricular activities than academics due to the majority of the households are low income. Parent involvement in their child's schooling is also lacking.
This is a great school in a nice neighborhood. The teachers and principal are helpful and caring.
Academic quality is average. There are a number of extracurricular activities and the school gets tons of funding because most of the students are low income. Parent involvement is encouraged, but not too acted on too much.
