I am a recent graduate of Glendale. I attended Bucknell University and will be entering medical school next year. I don't believe that Glendale afforded me with the educational background needed to do well in college. The biggest problem with Glendale is that they do not push students to work hard. I never studied in high school and got a 100% in nearly every class. I also disliked the like of AP credits available at Glendale.

I am a former student of Glendale School District. I am now a graduate of St. Francis with a B.S. in med, working towards my Masters. Glendale is a rural community. The administrative staff is a ring of politics. The education is for the most part poor, though there are some decent teachers. The courses are not up to par to prepare your child for college. Student punishment is not just Do not send your child here - it will be a nightmare.

As a student of Glendale I feel that the curiculum here is a good one. I feel that they, the teachers, try their hardest to do what they can to help better prepare us for the future. They are currently working very hard to help us bring up our test scores and trying to better prepare us for this chapter in our high school career. In my opinion they have done a very good job at it. The school environment is safe and secure and it makes for a wonderful learning environment also. I hope you don't let what people who have expressed as blame towards the school turn your decision. This school is amazing if you have the will power you can do anything and be prepared after graduating from it.

My teachers really try hard to get me to learn. I'm not the best student in the world, but they make me feel like I am important.

I think that Glendale does an excellent job. I went on to college, earned my bachelor's degree, and am currently working on a master's degree in physics. People who have said negative things about this school are the ones who skipped school constantly, cheated on homework and tests, and blamed teachers for their failures. Glendale is a rural, low-income district, but students who attend this school will get an excellent education if they apply themselves.

The teachers actually CARE about what happens to these kids! They deserve a lot of credit!

Im rating Glendale School District as a 1. As the other ratings say, the teachers there are more interested in what the other teacher gossip is and also to busy thinking up ways to get students in trouble for dumb stuff. As for extracurricular activites, theres slowly cutting them out. I will say one thing , we have good computer and internet access(when were allowed to use it). But as for the learning programs at Glendale, there not good ones at all.

I graduated from Glendale in 1999, I think that this school is a very poor school for education. The staff is more worried about what the students are doing then on what they are they are teaching. So I give this poor excuse for a school a rating of one.

I am a former graduate of this high school. My opinion, as well as that of other former graduates is that the academic standard is fairly low and that they are more focused on control of the students than on education.
