This year is my first year experiencing Lincoln Elementary School. I must say I am very disappointed in the school as an overall. I feel that the Kids are not getting the attention they deserve. And alot of class attention that is given to them is negative. I understand the Cause and effect thing in life, but if one child in the classroom is doing something wrong, I do disagree with yelling and screaming at the rest of the kids. The first month or so of school, my child came home everyday wanting me to home school them. This is a kid who loved school up until this year. The mixing of 3 schools together should have also been handled differently. It is too much stress and confusion to deal with all at once. They went from having teachers that care, to having teachers that are cold as ice.

The academic program is good at this school. Again, lack of text books in the facility due to misshandling of state funding by the school board. My child participated in the multi-age classroom. I was leery at first but he seemed to function quite well in that enviroment. The faculty was wonderful and very supportive. The parent involvment was good.

The teachers and staff are wonderful. Each child is treated with respect and as if they are the only one there, no rushing or hiding the child under the carpet. They get great care, exceptional schooling and I love it!
