We have 3. children that have all gone to GES. This was and is an outstanding school! From the Principle Dr. Christman to the teachers....all of them have a heart for kids!! You just don't see that in most schools.
I love Gilbertsville Elementary. The education and care my children have recieved since they started in Kindergarden has been excellent. The Principal is at the top of his league. His staff are also exceptional. I wouldn't move out of this area, because I would fear my children would not receive the great education and caring learning enviroment that they recieve at Gilbertsville Elementary.
I am new to the area and have 3 children, K, 2 & 4 grades. The school staff & children welcomed us with open arms. The quality of academic programs is impressive, the music shows are creative and every child seems to love participating. The parent support thru the Home & School is wonderful. Everyone seems to want to help in any way possible. My daughter was below grade level when she entered GES, but thru the hard work of her teacher and support staff is almost up to grade level. This is the best school I have had the pleasure to deal with. My children are very happy here and motivated to learn!
We were nervous when moving into the area about the size of the Gilbertsville. We have been overwhelmed at how amazing this school has been for our children. The principal is the most amazing man--everything you could ask for in a principal. He actually makes a home visit to all the children entering Kindergarten to read them a book. The school is large and still growing but he still knows most of the children by name! His staff is remarkable. The teachers really do take the time to care about their students! I haven't heard one complaint about this school! Oh and the fundraisers are unbelievable! We have never had one thing come home for our children to
My son currently goes here. This school is a wonderful school. They are very good about keeping in touch with the parents on your child and how he/she is doing. The teachers are great.
I couldn't be more happy at this school. The staff is excellent. My son is diabetic and I trust the nurses 100%. I have a child in 6th and 3rd grade and they both love it. My son needed some extra help in reading and the teacher picked up on it right away and he is getting the help needed so he doesn't struggle next year. The principal knows literally every child by name and most parents by name. You won't be disappointed.
The Best! They work wuth my child to achieve his goals & mine!
Absolutely Awesome. We are moving out of area, and will miss GES very much. Principal and teachers are very caring. Very welcoming. Do great fund raisers to keep the kids off the streets. For a public school, many Christians in this school. Awesome. Oh, I will miss volunteering here. Although the population is growing, it is a warm feeling when being in GES. I know I will find another school with great faculty, but I'm not sure it can compare.
