For folks who gripe about paying the infamous school tax in PA, they need only look in all the classrooms to see where their money is going. Southern Middle has equipped many ordinary classrooms (not just the computer lab) with high tech computer equipment. The teachers are outstanding when it comes to answering emails and staying in touch with parents if a child's grades are low. Both the office staff and the guidance office are wonderful, very friendly and most helpful. Southern is on the cutting edge of technology equal to, if not higher than, any private school for which you would pay top dollar. We love Southern and more importantly, so does our child!
This school is about the normal Middle/Junior High school. It offers great courses such as Cooking, Sewing, Metalshop, and Woodshop. The teachers are a great help.
