We have 2 kids that went to / are going to Manheim Elementary. Our oldest went to the school from 1st - 5th grade and our youngest from K - now in 4th grade. This is a very small elementary school and that is what makes it so great! Every teacher in the school knows every child and parent. They do a great job at teaching to all levels. Both of our kids are in the gifted program and this seems to meet our needs perfectly! In 2010 there will be a new Manheim Elementary. Totally new building and probably larger. But I believe it will still be small compared to other districts. The principal is very nice and goes out of his way to help in anyting we need. I would definitely recommend this school and the South Western School district. The area is also a great place to live!
