Bovard is one of Hempfield's best kept secrets. The atmosphere is loving and positive. The staff is highly-experienced and dedicated to providing the best education for the kids. The teachers go above and beyond the call of duty. They treat the kids with respect and care. The kids thrive in the close-knit family atmosphere of a school in which each child is known and made to feel important. Parents are welcomed and encouraged to become highly involved. There are many special events and traditions about which the kids are very enthusiastic. Some include March Arts Day, Earth Day, Olympic Day, Winter Carnival, Winter Sing-a-long and more. Extracurricular activities include skating and bowling parties which allow parents and children to mix, mingle and have fun. The children and staff have great school pride and it is truly contagious. It is a real delight to be part of such a wonderful school.
The teachers seem very dedicated to the children and teaching them. My daughter enjoys school and what she does there.
