I'm currently a senior at Gwynedd and the past four years here bring on much nostalgia. GMA has not only developed my academics, but has also allowed me to grow in ways I cannot fathom. Socially my experience has been phenomenal, as it has allowed me to branch out and become the confident girl I am today rather than the introverted one I was when I entered. Gwynedd's faculty is very nuturing and willing to help students out but at the same time they push each girl to do her best and are able to know this because of the small size. I couldn't reccomend this school enough and I am proud to say that I would go back and relive each and every day of my high school career and love every moment of it.

I am a parent and an alumna of GMA. Even though there were several other high schools that were less expensive and a good deal closer to our home, we chose GMA because it is that good. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, academics are very good college prep, and after school activities are numerous. My daughter and I both feel a real sisterhood environment there, a place where a young woman not only gets an great education but more importantly is truly encourged and free to be her true self while moving towards adulthood.

I am a 1974 graduate of the academy and I cannot express how much my Mercy education had meant to me. I went on to graduate from college (magna cum laude) and had a very successful career. I am now 'working for' another '74 alum and couldn't feel more blessed. Mercy is soooo much more than an education. The Mercy spirit is truly a lifetime gift.

Most of the teachers have been there too long, are too old, and have fogotten how to teach let alone interact with the students. Terrible math department.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
