Halifax k-5 has an awesome program in place that promotes positive behavior for all kids. It has resulted in less need for disciplining children and more reason for rewarding them for being kind, safe and following the rules!
Kindergarten and 1st grade were a wonderful experience. There is not a lot of parent teacher interaction. You are not welcome to visit school. As for principal leadership. I can't answer that yet. This is her first year at Halifax.
