After teaching 7th-8th grade for 20 years and being transferred to an elementary position, Hanover Green, because of its knowledgeable, caring teachers and involved parents accpeted me and made Kindergarten and 8th grade my favorite grades. The teachers at Hanover Green realize that as a specialist in Music, I am more than a free period. They know that the ARTS not only enhance education, the ARTS facilitate learning in other subjects. The children will be better prepared to meet the future because of an education that does not view one of the great disciplines of human thought, as secondary. Music is education and is proven to improve cognition by higher test scores.

My child has just completed the 2007-2008 school year. I t was a very comforting to know that the faculty and principal took a personal interest in the children. Testing was done on a weekly bases with results sent home to see how the child was progressing. We had a active PTA that helped in the school and even had workshops to assist us in helping our children to do exceptional work. If there was a problem the teacher as well as the principal took an interest in order for the child to achieve success. There were field trips to enhance the learning of the chilld. there were musical programs....there wer artist in residency programs....the children took active part in. The students also are taught computer skills and use a program called compass learning which help them with their academics. The program is filled with challenges. I like the small class size of only 18 students. the students have alot of opportunities.

My daughter just started kindergarten this year with no previous schooling. They made the transition very easy for her we had little to no problems. The whole staff is excellent.

This school is intolerant of different learning styles, the classes are too large especially for kindergarten (this is an all-kindergarten school), and one teacher can't possible keep 25 5 year olds of different learning abilities engaged. Kids that are bored or interested in other things get in trouble. There is no flexibility in the curriculum.

this school district provides excellent quality to all areas of teacher parent relationships.it also tries to help students in all areas of learning.all of the schools and teachers help with all problems, and give the children the best care and education possible. i can say this as a parent and have children in all of the schools in this area, and of being a former student myself.

Oops! We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Public and charter school test scores for most states come from the state Department of Education. The most common reasons we might not have this data are either that not enough students took the test or that the school was recently opened, and its scores have not yet been reported.
