The school has a very positive atmosphere that is conducive to learning. The staff are highly qualified and are flexible in their techniques to teaching to meet their student's individual needs. Support staff is available for student needs as well.
Park Hills is very supportive of children and their various learning styles. The staff are resourceful, creative and caring.
All my grandchildren went there or still go there. My grandson needed special assistance and they were there in force to encourage and support him, and now he's onto middle school. My youngest grandchild is second grade and loves it!
While I am happy overall with this school, I am very disappointed with the class sizes. I do not believe my child receives the attention he needs because of this. The teacher was great, but can only do so much with 20-25 K students and no full time aid.
I think Park Hills is a fantastic school. All 4 of my children love it! Mrs Kelly is a wonderful principal and very involved. Most of the teachers are very caring and creative and make learning fun. In all the years we've been there, there have only be a couple of teachers I haven't particularly liked. But they weren't bad teachers. Just not quite as good as the other teachers. I'm glad we moved here from Maryland. I wouldn't trade this school for any other.
Park Hills is an excellent school. We moved her recently from NY and what a difference. My children love the school and are doing much better in school now that we are at Park Hills
The teachers truly seem to care about their students. They are easy to communicate with and are willing to take time to help work with parents rather than against them. Mrs. Kelly and staff are friendly, fair, and have played a major role in the growth of my son. thank you park hills!
The school is nice & They have a great playground for the kids. The teachers are so-so & not very patient with the children. Too much homework for elementary school. Not good with parent/teacher communications.
