My child has been attending Milagre School since 2007. I believe the school has done a wonderful job in educating my child. She didn't know how to read aside from the Edmark Program, which is a sight word based program, but she is learning phonics and is doing wonderfully sounding out words. How cool is that!!!! When it comes to training, they don't do just provide special education 101 workshops, they provide workshops that benefit the children with providers that are top in their field. I love this school and can tell you that staff will work with you and related service providers outside the school, they will listen to your concerns and make adjustments and I can say this because this is the relationship I have with the staff. This school truly offers an Individualized Educational Program that meets the needs of my child. Thank you Milagre for taking the time to learn my child and teach her in a way that she learns! I am looking forward to the Secondary Education program starting in the fall. Thank you Milagre!!!

Pro: one on one. Cons: no socialisation prospects, staff turnover is close to 90% unlike home and other schools. parent involvement better than public schools; but raise your concerns and you child is kicked out of the school which is unlike other schools .Related service is NOT based on individual needs at all.The tuition includes very minimal related services as the other reviewer pointed.Consultation model does not help low functioning kids given the fact that training is awful. It is like asking a dentist to perform angioplasty!!

Great balance of traditional consistent use of ABA and following kids motivation to make it functional and meaningful for the children. One to one instruction. Very pleased they are opening secondary ed so the children can continue to grow here!

Found this school to be well above average. Provides 1:1 individualized instruction to children diagnosed with autism and related disabilities. Staff turnover seems to come and go in waves, no different than home program or school aids. Staff are trained using competency based training. Related services are based on individual need and consultation model allows for school staff to implement recommendations between sessions. Not sure who previous reviewer is or where information was obtained but I would suggest parents or districts interested schedule an appointment to observe or visit the school to form their own opinion.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
