The Silver Academy is simply phenomenal. Children treat each other with such amazing respect. Every child feels nurtured and free to learn. The curriculum is top notch, with foreign language introduced as early as Preschool. The best reading and writing curriculum you will find. On top of the fantastic education, children learn to be generous and support their community.
This is a great school! My daughter has learned so much this year and has made amazing friends! The teachers, administrators and secretaries are the best. The school has a very warm & caring atmosphere & has become my daughter's extended family. Parents are always welcome to be a part of their children's experiences at the school. The after-school clubs offered are wonderful (instrumental music, computers etc.) and there are basketball & swim programs open to the students as well. We are very lucky to have a school like this here in Harrisburg.
The quality of learning here is EXCELLENT! There are many extracurricular activities, but they call them 'clubs'. The parents can also help organize, if they'd like, many cool activities for the kids! Oh, yeah, the kids are also very well behaved, and would make good friends!
